West Lafayette, IN (Sports Network) - Evan Turner took over in the second half to score 23 of his career-high 32 points, as Ohio State made its first road win of the season one to remember, knocking off sixth-ranked Purdue at Mackey Arena, 70-66.
Turner was 11-of-21 from the floor, hit 9-of-10 at the line and had a personal 12-0 run in the final four minutes to turn a 10-point OSU deficit into a 64-62 lead with less than two minutes remaining.

Robbie Hummel was Turner's doppelganger in the first half, pouring in 29 of his career-best 35 points to stake the Boilermakers to a 12-point halftime lead.
Hummel ended 11-of-19 from the field and had all of his eight three-pointers come in the first half. The junior forward added 10 rebounds but was just 2- of-8 in the second half.
E’Twaun Moore chipped in 19 points for the Boilermakers (14-2, 2-2), who now have back-to-back losses after starting the season with 14 straight wins.
Purdue was coming off Saturday’s 73-66 road loss to Wisconsin and suffered its first home loss in nine tries.
