Boston College Checks Out For Second Half, Gets Slammed By No. 8 Duke

Durham, NC (Sports Network) - Nolan Smith posted a game-best 24 points as eighth-ranked Duke used an early second-half surge to steamroll Boston College, 79-59, at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Kyle Singler added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils (14-2, 2-1 ACC), winners in eight of nine. Miles Plumlee and Jon Scheyer each had 12 points for the victors.

Reggie Jackson poured in 20 points for the Eagles (10-7, 1-2), who have dropped three of four. Joe Trapani had eight points and Josh Southern seven in defeat.
