According to The Dallas Morning News, Will Muschamp will remain at Texas as defensive coordinator and head coach in waiting, which will take him out of the equation to become Tennessee’s next coach.

"I"m happy at Texas and plan to be here for a long time," Muschamp said through a Texas football spokesman.
He added that he has not interviewed for any other jobs nor does he have intention to do so.
The folks at Tennessee blog Rocky Top Talk are moving on to the next candidate while Texas blog Burnt Orange Nation breathes a sigh of relief.
