Al Groh Finds Work: Georgia Tech Hires Ex-UVA Coach

Reports indicate that Al Groh will be the new defensive coordinator for Georgia Tech. Groh will replace Dave Wommack, who was fired last week following a 24-14 loss to Iowa in the Orange Bowl.

Groh was fired as head coach of UVA in November following a 3-9 season. On Wednesday, Groh interviewed for the Miami Dolphins coordinator opening, but apparently opted to stay in the collegiate ranks.
