Nate Robinson, Gerald Wallace Among NBA Dunk Contest Participants

We already knew that the winner of a ‘Dunk-In’ between DeMar DeRozan and Eric Gordon would be one of the participants. We are also fairly certain that Gordon, while a great player, could get slaughtered by a very confident DeRozan in this ‘Dunk-In.’ The winner now knows who they will be up against as the NBA has announced the contestants for the 2010 Dunk Contest during All Star Weekend in Dallas next month: Shannon Brown, Gerald Wallace (BUZZSAW) and defending champion and Dunk Contest veteran, Nate Robinson, who won last year with his Kryptonate dunk over Dwight Howard.

↵Even though the dunks could still be awesome (especially from Gerald Wallace BUZZSAW), this is a real downgrade in the potential star power for the event after the buzz that LeBron James, Josh Smith and Howard would join Robinson in the field.
