Rodgers-Cromartie’s injury status has been updated, and his ACL is not damaged as previously reported.
No ACL damage for Rodgers-Cromartie
The MRI of cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie showed that he chipped his tibia of his left leg and also injured his medial collateral ligament. He will undergo further tests this week to determine if surgery is needed. The best part is that DRC’s anterior cruciate ligament was apparently OK, and that’s the ligament that causes the biggest problem if torn. All things considered, it’s good news for both DRC and the Cards. UPDATE: Officially, the MCL is just injured. The extent of that injury has yet to be determined.
