Leonard Garcia v. Diego Nunes Planned For WEC 47
- MMA Junkie gets the drop on yet another fight announcment
This is a fight that is likely to fly under the radar in terms of how good it actually is and what the win actually means for either guy. Nunes had been a monster in his career up until L.C. Davis put an L on his record in the last fight.
Leonard Garcia, on the other hand, has had an up and down career since signing with Zuffa and starting his time in the UFC where he went 1-2 prior to dropping down to featherweight and joining the WEC. With a couple wins Garcia put himself in line for a shot at Mike Brown’s belt only to be beaten down and forced to submit in under two minutes.
Look for a couple of hungry fighters to look to get their careers back on track in a real war on March 6.
