Stephen Colbert became an American hero when he (and his show) stepped in to sponsor the U.S. Speedskating team for the 2010 WInter Games, after DSB Bank when bankrupt. You’d think this would be enough to get most of the country’s support, or at least the speedskating team itself, but you’d be wrong. Gold medal favorite Shani Davis has gone on record calling Colbert a “jerk” after the talk show host made some jokes about Canada. Fortunately for us, they have decided to settle their differences on the ice. Just as soon as Colbert learns how to skate.
