Last year’s three-point shootout probably won’t ever be featured on any NBA home videos. It was that bad. Two-time defending champion Jason Kapono sputtered in the finals, leaving Rashard Lewis and Daequan Cook to do battle in overtime over who could clank the fewest threes. Cook eventually “won” that battle when Lewis scored a depressing seven points (maximum is 30) in the overtime round.

↵No word yet on who will join him in the competition, but here’s hoping this year’s winner actually puts forth a performance to remember rather than simply being the best of a bad group.
