↵Lawrence is clearly in the key when he attempts the pass, which is a violation. Referee Tony Greene motions that a violation has taken place, but he lets Lawrence go ahead and inbound the ball in the correct place anyway.
↵Sure, it was unlikely that Louisville would have gotten the tying or winning basket off in the fraction of a second remaining, but Rick Pitino certainly had reason to be angry with that particular call.
