Tiger: Won’t Play At Torrey Pines

This isn’t a huge surprise since Tiger’s been in seclusion for the better part of two months now, but his “indefinite leave” from the PGA Tour will continue next week, when he’ll miss the Farmers Insurance Open at one of his favorite courses, Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. It’s the first event of the new PGA Tour season, and probably a sign of things to come. Whatever happens in golf this year, it’ll probably happen without Tiger. For golf’s sake, that’s a shame.
