↵MLB.com released its 2010 list of baseball’s top 50 prospects today and Strasburg is not at the top. That honor goes to the Atlanta Braves’ outfielder Jason Heyward. Jonathan Mayo, MLB.com’s minor league expert, said the voting between Strasburg and Heyward was close by scouts, but Heyward gets the edge for his two years of experience in the minors plus his ability to potentially help the Braves this season.
↵Baltimore’s Brian Matusz (No. 5), San Francisco’s Buster Posey (No. 4) and Florida’s Mike Stanton (No. 3) round out the top five.
