Open Wide For Some Soccer! World Cup Schedule Is Out

The first match of the 2010 World Cup will determine once and for all which nation is the greatest on Earth...Mexico or...South Africa (Sorry, Portugal). And it’ll take place Friday, June 11th at 9:30 AM ET. I know that because ESPN has released the broadcasting schedule for the World Cup. (All times Eastern)

↵England vs. USA is set up perfectly for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th. Hey, that’s when we usually watch our own football. Well played.

↵America’s second game against Slovenia is slotted for Friday, June 18th at 9:30 a.m., not as family-friendly. America’s third and final game of the first-round, against Algeria, is set for Wednesday, June 23rd at 9:30 a.m. So enjoy the sleep-in for the first game...it’s an early one for the next two.

↵Check out the full schedule here and plan accordingly.
