Steven Jackson Accused Of Physically Abusing Pregnant Girlfriend

You'll see that this report is from TMZ, and you'll probably take a *deep sigh* and brush it off as nonsense. But TMZ is right more often than you may think. With that in mind, take this for what it's worth: the website is claiming to have a police document, in which Rams RB Steven Jackson is accused by his girlfriend at the time of domestic violence. The incident in question happened in March of last year, while his girlfriend was nine months pregnant with Jackson's child.

The report written by Supriya Harris claims Jackson pushed her to the ground repeatedly, and threw her into a door. Harris claims the door handle cut her, which cause heavy bleeding. Jackson allegedly drove Harris to the hospital and told her to lie about how she was injured.

Ten days after the alleged altercation, Harris gave birth to Jackson’s son. Four month later, she claims she left Jackson after he threatened physical violence again. Recently, the two sides have been in a legal battle over child support payments.

Aside from this being completely deplorable, if the accusations are at all true, is the fact that Jackson will certainly face some sort of suspension from the league if any charges and/or conviction stem from this.

UPDATE: CBS Sports claims to have received the same report, if that makes you feel safer than trusting TMZ.com.
