Bellator Continues Signing Major Prospects; Announce Eric Schambari

↵In the latest addition to its growing Season 2 fighter roster, Bellator Fighting Championships announced today the acquisition of middleweight and former WEC standout Eric Schambari.

↵Schambari, who boasts an 11-1 professional record, is in the midst of an unlikely comeback from a career-threatening injury that forced him to sit out all of 2008. He is a perfect 4-0 since his return.

↵Schambari joins the growing list of top prospects to have signed with Bellator for the second season. The promotion continues to build toward being the thing that The Ultimate Fighter was originally intentioned to be. Season 1 of BFC included some really good fights and some classic finishes. But season 2 is going to provide a very interesting look into the future of MMA with the high level prospects they have signed.
