In December, Detroit Tigers catcher Gerald Laird was arrested at a Phoenix Suns game after taking part in a brawl. Also facing legal action were his brother and uncle. Now the story has taken a turn for the absurd. Charlsie House, wife of the Boston Celtics’ Eddie House, claims that Laird’s grandfather touched her inappropriately:

Whatever the case, the odd pairing of Eddie House’s wife and Gerald Laird’s grandpa in a story leads me to believe that this is a real-life Mad Lib. I mean, come on, let’s try it.
