VIDEO: Lebron James Kicks Water Bottle Into Stands, Fined 25K

During the first quarter of Wednesday's night's Cavaliers-T'Wolves game, Lebron James reacted to a bad call by an official by violently kicking a gatorade jug into the stands. All in all, not too big of deal, but apparently the NBA took it seriously, as they've fined him $25,000 for the display.

It all happened after James was fouled by Ramon Sessions on his way to the hoop, and then... No call? Not cool. Sessions clearly grabbed James on his way to the hoop, forcing Lebron to switch from his right hand to his less dependable left, missing the layup as a result. And after some scowls at the officials on the way back down the court, James was still fuming as the game went to timeout, and at the 53-second mark of this video... well, see for yourself:

Being the wealthiest, most famous, most successful basketball player on the planet—it’s a double edged sword, really. On the one hand, you basically have the coolest life imaginable. But on the other, any misstep—even as something as obviously minor as that brief outburst—gets magnified. Would another player have been fined $25,000 for something like this? Maybe not. But then, Lebron makes more money from endorsements than most players make from their NBA teams. What’s $25,000?

Apple sauce to a boss.
