Return Of The Zorn? Ex-Redskins Coach Reportedly Linked To Ravens’ QB Coach Job

After losing the Redskins' head coaching job immediately following the 2009 season, Jim Zorn is apparently the favorite to become the new quarterback coach for the Ravens. Pro Football Scout's Adam Caplin tweets:

Source said Jim Zorn is the leader for the QB coach job with the #Ravens. Great choice if he does wind up getting it.

Zorn seems overwhelmed at times by head coaching duties, as the Redskins stripped him of offensive play-calling duties midway through the 2009 season. However, he has a successful resume as a quarterbacks coach, having filled that role with Boise State, Minnesota, and the Seattle Seahawks.

For more on Zorn’s possible move to Baltimore, check out our Ravens blog, Baltimore Beatdown.
