No. 12 BYU picked up a fairly easy home win over arch-rival Utah Saturday night, thanks to 36 points from Jimmer Fredette, but there was an ugly incident in the contest’s dying moments.
BYU’s Public Enemy No. 1 (For The Moment): Marshall Henderson

Jeremy Mauss posted this video at our MWC blog, Mountain West Connection. It's rather long, but important action takes place about a minute in. That's when Utah's Marshall Henderson first throws the ball off BYU's Jonathan Tavernari, then swings, and appears to hit, the Cougars' Jackson Emery.

↵In his post explaining the video, Mauss expects Henderson, who was ejected with 34 seconds left, to be suspended.
↵Mountain West Connection has two earlier posts featuring other angles of the incident (here and here), but they aren’t nearly as conclusive as the longer video.
↵You can also visit our BYU blog, Vanquish The Foe, and our Utah site, Block U, for more discussion about Henderson’s punch and the game itself.
