Video: Scotty Hopson Shoots Down Gators

Florida does not have a good basketball team this year, unless the definition of “good” is now “potential top seed in the NIT.” But they are fantastic at playing dramatic games.

In their 61-60 loss to Tennessee, Florida’s Chandler Parsons hit his third clutch three this month with under thirty seconds to go. This one wouldn’t be a game-winner: The Vols turned to Scotty Hopson for the crunch-time jumper, and he delivered a 20-foot dagger. Alex Tyus’ missed bunny at the other end sealed the Gators’ fate.
