As expected, Ryan Mallett announced at a press conference on Friday that he will return to Arkansas for his junior season, according to Robbie Neiswanger of Stephens Media. Mallett — who will be a fourth-year junior after sitting out a year while he transferred from Michigan — said that Arkansas was “where I need to be. I’ve got another year to grow and mature on and off the field.”
