Terrell Owens has already had a full day, and the slate of NFL games isn’t even an hour old. First, Owens appeared with Michael Irvin on NFL Network this morning to ruminate on the trade that sent Randy Moss to Minnesota. Owens asked, rhetorically, “Why does Tom (Brady) get a new contract and Randy doesn’t? That baffles me to death.”
Terrell Owens Comments On Randy Moss, Tweets Illegally, Scores
↵Also baffling Owens: the NFL’s social media policy. His account fired off a tweet today within an hour of Cincinnati’s game against Tampa Bay, which is a violation of NFL rules. It’s the second time a Bengals wideout has done so this year, and Chad Ochocinco got a $25,000 fine for his message before a preseason game.
↵And then there’s the matter of Owens’ 43-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter of Cincy’s game. He’s been on fire on the field of late, passing some milestones last week, and it’s nice to see Owens remains a versatile wide receiver, capable of making headlines for his play on the field and his incessant chatter off of it.
