The Jacksonville Jaguars, at this point, seem to have three offensive weapons. One is Marcedes Lewis. One is Maurice Jones-Drew. And the last one is Josh Scobee.
Week 5 NFL Scores And Results: Jaguars Keep Bills Winless
Scobee, the Jags’ kicker, continued a fantastic season with five field goals in Jacksonville’s 36-26 win over Buffalo. He’s hit on all ten of his attempts this year.
That's no slight to Jones-Drew, who had his fourth game of 80+ rushing yards this season, or Lewis, who had his second multi-touchdown outing, just a compliment of the kicker who sealed one win for the Jaguars with a 59-yarder and helped keep Jacksonville well out in front of the Bills today.
As for the Bills, who fall to 0-5, the bright spots are few and far between. C.J. Spiller's flashes of big play potential last week were not followed up today; he finished with just 34 yards of total offense. Ryan Fitzpatrick was good, completing 20 of 30 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns. But the defense that has given up more than 30 points in all but one game this year failed again, forcing no turnovers and giving up a 10-0 first quarter lead.
