The NHL was big on cracking down on headshots on this season. Now, they have their first chance at sending a message about blindside shots. During the first period of the Chicago Blackhawks/Buffalo Sabres game, Niklas Hjalmarsson essentially bounced Jason Pominville's head off the glass.

↵Hjalmarsson was given a five minute boarding major and a game misconduct. The NHL Wheel of Justice should spin on this hit, but the question will be for how long. The longer the suspension, the more of a statement the league will be making.
