Antonio Gates left the Chargers' loss in St. Louis in the second quarter after hurting his ankle blocking for Ryan Mathews on a running play.
Antonio Gates Suffers Ankle Injury In Chargers’ Loss To Rams
Gates returned for another San Diego offensive series, but left to the locker room before halftime and did not return in the second half.
Gates is scheduled to undergo an X-ray and an MRI on the ankle on Monday in San Diego.
