In Progress: No. 25 Nevada, UNLV Fight For The Fremont Cannon

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Colin Kaepernick completed 13-of-17 throws for 124 yards and a touchdown and ran for 97 yards and another score to carry 25th-ranked Nevada past UNLV, 44-26, in the Battle for the Fremont Cannon at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Vai Taua carried 19 times for 188 yards and three scores and caught two passes for 17 yards and a touchdown for the Wolf Pack (5-0), who have won their first five games for the first time since becoming an FBS school in 1992.

Omar Clayton connected on 14-of-23 passes for 214 yards and a score and Phillip Payne made eight catches for 170 yards for the Rebels (1-4), who lost for an eighth straight time against a ranked opponent.
