Fantasy Football Injury News, Week 7: DeSean Jackson, Antonio Gates Headline Report

Arizona Cardinals At Seattle Seahawks

WRs Steve Breaston & Early Doucet are listed questionable after being limited in practice all week with knee & groin injuries respectively. Breaston has missed the last two weeks and Doucet hasn't played since week one.

Buffalo Bills At Baltimore Ravens

Todd Heap is questionable for Sunday, but he did return fully to the Ravens' Friday practice, which is a pretty good sign that he'll be ready to go by Sunday.

Cincinnati Bengals At Atlanta Falcons

From a fantasy perspective both teams look pretty good, but the Falcons will likely be without CB Dunta Robinson as he continues to get over a concussion caused by his now infamous hit on the Eagles DeSean Jackson. The Falcons secondary was torched by the Eagles last week and without Robinson this weekend Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens could feast on it.

Cleveland Browns At New Orleans Saints

WR Mohamed Massaquoi is doubtful this week after he was hit in head by Steelers LB James Harrison last week, a hit that helped earn Harrison a $75,000 fine. Peyton Hillis will make his return for the Browns this weekend after he was upgraded to probable.

For the Saints, Pierre Thomas will miss yet another game with the ankle injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars At Kansas City Chiefs

The big one here is that David Garrard is officially out with a concussion. Compounding the Jaguars problems is that Trent Edwards has been listed as questionable with a right thumb injury and only started to throw a little bit on Friday. They will make a game time decision on their starter, but newly re-signed Tom Bouman has taken all practice reps this week and looks like the favorite to start.

In other words, start that Chiefs defense.

New England Patriots At San Diego Chargers

Fred Taylor is out, WR Julian Edleman is questionable with a concussion.

For the Chargers, kicker Nate Kaeding is out so if you're a Kaeding owner like me you may have to clear a spot for another kicker this week. Antonio Gates is listed questionable with a toe injury and will be a game time decision. Gates has started 85 straight games.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

The Raiders are a mess at the skill position with RB Michael Bennett (hamstring), QB Jason Campbell (knee), QB Bruce Gradkowski (right shoulder), RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) & TE Brandon Myers (concussion) all listed as questionable.

The Broncos are equally beat up on defense with LB Robert Ayers (foot), S Brian Dawkins (knee), CB Andre' Goodman (quadricep), S Darcel McBath (ankle), & LB Wesley Woodyard (hamstring) all out. CB Champ Bailey (ribs) is questionable.

WR Eddie Royal is listed as questionable but is expected to play.

Philadelphia Eagles At Tennessee Titans

The Eagles will be without WR DeSean Jackson as he gets over a concussion. Michael Vick is questionable and will probably only be the second or third QB. Kevin Kolb has been announced as the starter for this weekend.

It's looking more and more like Vince Young won't be ready to go for the Titans this weekend. He's questionable with a knee injury he suffered last Monday night and was not able to practice at all this week. ESPN's John Clayton reported, "Jeff Fisher didn't rule him out but it's going to take a very good pre-game warmup for Young to play."

The decision will likely be made game time, but Kerry Collins looks likely to start at this point.

Pittsburgh Steelers At Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins found out that they’ve lost DE Jared Odrick for the year this week, but otherwise these teams are in good shape.

San Francisco 49ers At Carolina Panthers

CB Nate Clements is questionable with an ankle injury for the Niners, could mean for good matchups with WR Steve Smith.

St. Louis Rams At Tampa Bay Buccaneers

WR Mardy Gilyard is doubtful for the Rams with a hamstring.

For the Bucs, LB Barrett Ruud is questionable with a toe injury, he’ll be important if they hope to stop Stephen Jackson.

Washington Redskins At Chicago Bears

It's always tough to figure out what the Redskins are up to because they list everyone as questionable. Clinton Portis is definitely out. Chris Cooley suffered a concussion last week, but the Redskins say he's ready to go for this weekend.

And for the first time this year, the Redskins haven't claimed that Donovan McNabb is questionable.

Minnesota Vikings At Green Bay Packers

The big news from this one is that it looks like LB Clay Matthews is ready to return. Matthews was the hottest pass rusher in football before his injury and he could wreak havoc on Brett Favre is he's fully healthy by this weekend.
