Vince Young Will Be Back Up, Kerry Collins To Start For Titans

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN and Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean, Kerry Collins will start for the Tennessee Titans in their game today versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Vince Young will back up Collins and Rusty Smith will be the third quarterback. Young left last week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with injuries to his knee and ankle and was listed as questionable as a result of them.

Young was out on the field for part of the pre-game warm ups but did very little. In spite of this, Young's knee and ankle are apparently healed enough for him to be the back up to Collins. Collins will then make his first start of the season and his first start for the Titans since week 6 of the 2009 NFL season. The Titans were 0-6 last year with Collins under center and in his last game as Titans starter they were blown out by the New England Patriots 59-0.

In other Titans news, wide receiver Kenny Britt will not start and is being bench - but will play - because of his involvement in a late night scuffle outside of a night club last night. Fantasy owners should be wary of playing Kenny Britt because of this issue but he should still remain as the best receiving threat for the Titans.
