Max Hall Gets The Start At QB For Cardinals; Derek Anderson Benched

After the 2010 NFL draft was completed in April, BYU QB Max Hall was just another undrafted player trying to find a spot on an NFL team. Amazingly, less than six months later and Hall is going to be starting for an NFL team.

The Cardinals announced Wednesday that Hall will get the nod on Sunday against the Saints in Week 5.

He replaces Derek Anderson who was miserable as the Cardinals starting QB already throwing up five interceptions on the season to just three touchdowns. Also, he hasn't had a completion percentage over 54.8 percent this year.

Hall has played a little bit in the 2010 season replacing Anderson a couple of times. Most recently, he completed 8-of-14 passes for 82 yards against San Diego in a 41-10 blowout. Hall was also sacked six times.

Check out SB Nation’s Revenge of the Birds for more on Max Hall’s new status as the starter.
