Vince Young Stripped Of Titans Starting Quarterback Job

Titans quarterback Vince Young has lost his starting job for the foreseeable future. Young was replaced by Rusty Smith in the third quarter of Tennessee’s loss at home to the Redskins on Sunday.

After the game, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, asked if Young had lost his starting job, said, “Yeah, right now he has. There are some things that need to change.”

Vince fumbled in the red zone in the first half of the loss to the Redskins. When he was booed by the home crowd late in the first half, he made a gesture egging them on by pointing to the ear holes on his helmet. When the game ended, Young threw his jersey and shoulder pads into the stands in disgust, then stormed out of the locker room minutes after the games ended without submitting himself to questions from reporters.
