The Colorado Avalanche have been seriously unlucky on the injury front so far this season, and things got even worse on Saturday night. Chris Stewart, who leads the team with 11 goals on the season, broke his hand in a fight with Minnesota's Kyle Brodziak.

There’s no word on how much time Stewart will miss, but at least he went down in a blaze of glory. Brodziak only got one or two good shots in on him. I guess that’s the downside of beating someone up, though. Your hands can get a little tired.
