Although it's unlikely he'd say otherwise, Washington quarterback Jake Locker says it "would be something special" to play for the Seattle Seahawks.
Jake Locker would welcome playing for Seahawks
“I think it would be awesome,” Locker said Monday on The Kevin Calabro Show on 710 ESPN Seattle. “I would have no opposition to that at all.”
If the draft were held today, the Seahawks would have either pick 11 or 12 in the first round, pending a coin flip with New England. If the Seahawks win the putrid NFC West, the pick would be in the 20s.
Heading into the season, Locker was viewed as the top draft-eligible quarterback in the nation. But inconsistency and general poor play has caused many evaluators to sour on him. For instance, Locker has fallen to 17th on Mel Kiper’s latest big board. In my first mock draft, I had the Seahawks taking Locker 21st.
