Metrodome Roof Collapse: Fantasy Owners, Your Playoff Hopes Are Safe
Fantasy owners were on full alert as it appeared that the NFL may have to postpone the game until Monday. Then news came out that the Metrodome roof had collapsed, which threw those plans into chaos. The Vikings released information stating that the roof repair may take well past Monday, saying that it would only be completed Tuesday at the earliest.
The NFL decided today that the Vikings and Giants will play Monday night in Ford Field, thus protecting the interests of fantasy owners world wide. With fantasy playoffs already in full swing owners with any Giants or Vikings were concerned about the availability of their players for the second week of playoffs in their leagues. Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson, Hakeem Nicks, Ahmad Bradshaw, Brandon Jacobs, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin and Eli Manning were all set to find themselves excluded from this week's proceedings.
