Blackhawk Down: Jonathan Toews Out Two Weeks With Shoulder Injury

Just seven minutes after Patrick Kane returned to the lineup following an injury, the Chicago Blackhawks lost another star player.

In the first period of their game in St. Louis against the Blues, Jonathan Toews was pushed into the boards by Matt D'Agostini. Toews spun and his right shoulder took the brunt of the impact. He didn't return to the game, and he'll miss about two weeks thanks to the fall according to head coach Joel Quenneville.

Here’s video of the incident:

The injury comes, as mentioned, just after Kane's return from an ankle injury, as well as just a few games after Marian Hossa returned from an injury of his own. The Blackhawks just don't have luck on their side so far this year.
