During a chat with ESPN NFL insider (reporter?) Adam Schefter, plenty of people asked about Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
Schefter: Andrew Luck or bust for Panthers

Schefter, who has a bevy of connections throughout the league, predicts Luck will go first overallin the NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers. That could make the prospective open head coach job in Carolina an attractive one.
“It’s a dream situation for any coach,” Schefter said. “Luck has the chance to make some coach look very good for years to come.”
Schefter said that it’s unlikely the Panthers will want to pay as much as Bill Cowher will want. The job could go to perpetual candidate Russ Grimm or even Luck’s college coach Jim Harbaugh.
If the Panthers happen to not want Luck, Schefter believes “a handful of teams” would be interested in trading up to the first overall pick.
