This has been a bit of an up-and-down year for United States Men's National Team midfielder Jose Francisco Torres.

The 23-year-old made the U.S.‘s World Cup roster, but only played in one match. Professionally, he began the season as a starter for Pachuca, was benched for a spell and regained his starting spot.
Now, he seems ready find greener pastures.
“I already spoke to [Pachuca president Jesús Martínez] and asked him to let me go if an opportunity comes through and yes, if something comes up, they’ll let me go,” Torres told FutbolMLS.com. “If the opportunity presents itself and there is a good, concrete offer, of course I would enjoy playing in MLS. For now, I’m happy to be with Pachuca and I have to stay focused.”
With the Houston Dynamo securing the lease on their new stadium, it would stand to reason that they might be looking to add a high-profile player. While Torres is not exactly a household name, he is a Texas native and his flashy style could certainly prove to be an effective marketing tool.
FC Dallas, fresh off their franchise's first ever MLS cup appearance, could be another possible landing spot for Torres. Fresh off losing central midfielder Dax McCarty, Torres would likely prove an upgrade while playing a similar style.
