The New York Jets are looking to improve after a good season and a great playoff run. Coach Rex Ryan is looking to make the Jets perennial playoff and Super Bowl contenders. To keep the buzz alive several positions need to be addressed.
New York Jets team needs
1. Wide Receiver
- Braylon Edwards has big play ability but his concentration is still lacking and will always have a lot of drops. Edwards’s inconstancy will not help the development of Mark Sanchez. Jerricho Cotchery is nice player but will not give any defensive coordinators sleepless nights.
2. Nose Tackle
- The Jets defense really changed when nose tackle Kris Jenkins went out with injury. Unfortunately for the Jets Jenkins has always struggled with injuries and the nose tackle position is too important to not have depth.
3. Outside Linebacker
- Simply put the Jets need to find someone to be what Vernon Gholsten is not. The Jets could use some assistance at the defensive end position but they need another pass rushing presence at the outside linebacker position.
