Yes, We Are Here for Super Bowl 44

Hello one and all from not-so-lovely Miami. I’ve arrived safe and sound, along with Michael Tunison, to keep you updated on what’s going on here through this week’s Super Bowl between the Colts and Saints. If you took the weather and the points, congrats.↵

↵↵It’s absolutely miserable here, weather wise, although if it’s going to rain all day any day this week, Monday is the day for it to happen. Not a lot going on, event-wise, as we hit the ground. The fun really begins tomorrow with the vaunted media day sessions with both teams. Those are always good for some fun, and we’ll be documenting everything happening. There are big events throughout the week like Madden Bowl, a Playboy golf event and (we hope) an inside look at Chad Ochocinco’s mansion party, just to name a few things.↵

↵↵Not a lot to report today, as people are really in transit, but we did drive on A1A, as once referenced by Vanilla Ice, so we’ve got that going for us. Back with lots more on Tuesday, starting probably around noon as the early returns on the first part of media day come in. (A sign of how bad the weather is: things have been moved inside to the club level of the stadium and off the surface. A sign of more dreadful weather, unfortunately. Definitely going to cut into the crowds available for people watching.) You can also follow me on Twitter for general musings on the trip, too.↵
