↵↵“When I was in Spain, I became a big fan of the TV show Friends. I watched tapes over and over. I would get tapes that were a few years after they ran in America, but that’s how I learned English,” Scola said.
↵↵Rather shocking, isn’t it? Scola, who grew up in Argentina before traveling to Spain to turn pro at the age of 15, had little trouble adjusting to the English language by the time the Rockets traded for him back in 2007. Scola even suggests following a particular character in order to best master the dialect.
