Vikings Fans Get on the Billboard Bandwagon

While some Vikings fans didn’t really love Brett Favre at the end of the season, clearly there are a few who’d like to delay the second coming of Tarvaris Jackson just a little bit longer. How else can you explain this billboard?↵

↵↵There’s a Facebook group with 126,703 members as of this posting titled “4 MILLION VIKINGS FANS WANT BRETT FAVRE BACK IN MINNESOTA FOR 2010.” (Not sure where four million comes from, since the group is well below that.) In addition, the site vikesfans4favre.com is associated with the group, and they endeavored to raise the funds for a billboard in Hattiesburg, which had the following text: “Hey #4, Do Minnesota Fans Love You and Want You Back Next Year? ‘You Brettcha.’” Because, for some reason, the billboard has become the way to communicate with NFL teams, this seems like an appropriate way to communicate the message.↵

↵↵There’s no real indication on when Favre will make any sort of decision. I just hope that he takes his time and whatever he decides is final.↵
