Oilers Win In Shootout To End 11-Game Road Losing Streak

Los Angeles (Sports Network) - Lubomir Visnovsky scored in the 10th round of the shootout as Edmonton defeated Los Angeles, 3-2, Thursday night to end a 11-game road losing streak.

Edmonton (19-35-6), the worst team in the NHL this season, won for only the fourth time in 26 games.

The Kings (36-20-4) rallied for two goals in the third period to send the game into overtime. Dustin Brown scored on a rebound at 11:05 and Ryan Smyth scored his 19th goal of the season to tie the score at 2-2 with 4:38 left in regulation.

Defenseman Denis Grebeshkov scored in the second period to give the Oilers a 1-0 lead and Dustin Penner made it 2-0 on a power play goal at 7:47 of the third period.
