Orange-Aid? Dale Jr. Gets New Colors For Cali

In the racing world, the color green is considered bad luck.

↵That probably doesn’t explain all the stuff Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his team have gone through during a prolonged slump, but changing things up for the weekend can’t hurt.

↵Earnhardt Jr.‘s typically green or blue No. 88 car (depending on the sponsor) will have a bright orange hue at Auto Club Speedway this weekend to promote Amp Energy Juice, a new product that comes in orange and mixed berry flavors.

↵“The car looks awesome and the orange is going to look good on the track,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “I think everyone pretty much knows I’m not a morning person so AMP Juice is a good wake-up call on mornings when I have to be up early.”
