    UFC 110 Results: Cain Velasquez Knocks Out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

    It only took two minutes and twenty seconds for Cain Velasquez to answer any questions about his ability to hang with the top end of heavyweights in the world. Throughout the fight Cain controlled the stand-up, landing several hard leg kicks before eventually connecting on a beautiful right hand that stunned Nogueira and dropped him. From there it was a flurry of shots from Cain that forced Herb Dean to stop the fight.Cain Velasquez is for real and proved it in dominating fashion tonight.

    UFC 110 Results: Wanderlei Silva Edges Out Michael Bisping

    In the co-main event of the evening Wanderlei Silva was able to outwork Michael Bisping en route to a unanimous decision. Silva was able to make bigger statements with his action at the end of each round, using the final 30 seconds to flurry and even managed to drop the Brit with a few seconds left in the final round.Bisping was able to spend a fair amount of time landing punches and answered a lot of questions about the quality of his chin eating several flush punches throughout the fight.

    However, winning the second and third round gave Silva a 29-28 win on all three judges scorecards.

    UFC 110 Results: Mirko Cro Cop Beats Anthony Perosh Via Cut

    In the first fight of the main card, Mirko Cro Cop busted up late replacement Anthony Perosh for two rounds before doctors were forced to stop the fight on a very bad cut. The fight was completely one sided from the opening bell and a big elbow late in the second opened a large cut above the eye of the Aussie.Amazingly, despite blood streaming into his eyes and a ton of punishment inflicted Perosh chose to fight on to the end of the round. Between rounds the doctors decided the cut was bad enough and called a halt to the contest.

    The win over a late replacement did little to prove anything about where Cro Cop is in his career but he did avoid an embarrassing loss and dominated the fight as he needed to.
