Following in the footsteps of the NHL and while they are on break, the AHL is going outside with the Mirabito Outdoor Classic in Syracuse, NY. For an event that has seen its fair share of issues in setup and basically getting the city to agree to it, it finally arrived at the New York State Fairgrounds.

↵The Syracuse Crunch and Binghamton Senators are at the first intermission at the time of writing and Alexandre Picard have put the Crunch up 1-0. The ice is said to be better than Fenway and the setup looks to be beneficial to many fans:
