DePaul is facing Louisville in Rosemont, and the Courier-Journal’s Rick Bozich is there to witness a legend in the making. He tweets:
The Instant Legend Of Mr. Obnoxious, The Immortal Heckler
↵
↵Foul-mouthed DePaul student just got booted from spot near Louisville bench by request of officials 75 seconds into game.
↵
↵Not news, right? Obnoxious fans have been kicked out of games since time immemorial. But then:
↵
↵Mr obnoxious fan returned and taunted official Ed Corbett. Mistake. He just got the ziggy.
↵
↵Okay, well, let’s kick him out again. Oh no!
↵
↵Mr. Obnoxious back -- again. Dude has burned three of his nine lives with vocal chords intact.
↵
↵If I were there I would probably be as annoyed as Mr. Bozich, but as it stands, I have to recognize this Herculean effort. He might just be the successor to last year’s Phillies fan, who was kicked out, wandered into the stadium offices, filled out a job application, and then stole some stuff. We salute you, nameless legend.
