According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has decided to not throw during combine workouts. He will wait until Florida’s March 17 pro day.
Tebow won’t throw at combine
Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen and Dan LeFevour have also said they will not throw in Indianapolis. Colt McCoy, coming off a nerve injury in his shoulder, will attempt to throw.
Tebow has been working with Marc Trestman, a former NFL quarterbacks coach. Trestman told Schefter that Tebow’s release has become quicker. If Tebow has a shot at making it as a quarterback in the pros, that is a necessity.
But who could benefit the most from all these quarterbacks not throwing? Jevan Snead. While Snead should have returned for his senior year at Mississippi, don’t be surprised to see him light up Indianapolis and ascend on draft boards.
