Paulo Filho Will Fight Yuki Sasaki at Bitetti Combat 6

Following up on a story from yesterday, it does now appear that Paulo Filho will remain on the Bitetti Combat 6 card against Yuki Sasaki according to the promoter speaking with Sherdog:

↵↵“Sasaki said that he would only fight if it was with Paulo,” Bitetti said. “Knowing this, Paulo said that he would fight anyway.”

↵↵It may be a bit unfair of me but I can’t help but think of the Sonnen fight when I hear that Filho will be fighting despite wanting time to get over personal issues. Hopefully he is able to get through the fight safely.

↵Paulo’s planned replacement Thales Leites will remain on the card against a yet unnamed opponent.
