After being out since February 5th due to his sprained left ankle, Kobe Bryant told reporters that he expects to play on Tuesday when the Lakers take on the Grizzlies, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Times.
Kobe Bryant Expected To Return To Action On Tuesday Against Grizzlies
Bryant said that his ankle is at about “80-85%” strength, but that he feels strong enough to get back on the court, and wants to play his way back to full strength. When asked about his stamina, Bryant, who’s dubbed himself the “Black Mamba”, said that he feels “like a gazelle” and should be fine.
Because of the All-Star break Bryant has only missed five games while he recovered from the sprain he suffered against the Nuggets. The Lakers have gone 4-1 in Bryant's absence.
