Later in the day, Bode Miller will ski for a record fourth medal in one Olympic Games in Men's Giant Slalom. Also, the U.S. has their best shot ever at a Team Nordic Combined medal, the women have their turn on the Ski Cross hills and Men's Hockey starts the qualification round. Finally, at night, live and in primetime, Women's Figure Skating begins with the Short Program. All times Eastern.
Winter Olympics Schedule, Day 12: Bode Skis For Record; Women’s Figure Skating Starts
WHAT TO WATCH:
12 p.m. - 3 p.m. - USA - Women’s Curling.
3 p.m. - 5 p.m. - NBC - Torino silver medalist Chad Hedrick looks to return to the podium in Men’s 10,000m Speed Skating (LIVE). Also, Women’s Ski Cross qualifying, medals awarded in Women’s Biathlon 4x6km Relay and America has its best chance ever at a Nordic Combined team medal in the Team/4x5 km - 4x5 km Relay.
3 p.m. - 6 p.m. - USA - Men’s Hockey - With round-robin play out of the way, Olympic Hockey heats up in the elimination round. First up: Switzerland vs. Belarus. Winner gets Team USA.
5 p.m. - 8 p.m. - CNBC - Men's Curling.
8 p.m. - 12 a.m. - NBC - Primetime - U.S. champ Rachel Flatt and runner-up Mirai Nagasu take to the ice as women’s Figure Skating begins live (ET/CT). Plus Women’s Ski Cross, Bode Miller looking for his record fourth medal of these Olympics in Men’s Giant Slalom and the first two runs of Women’s Bobsled.
8 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - CNBC - Men’s Hockey - After a stunning 5-3 loss to Team USA on Sunday, Sidney Crosby, Martin Brodeur and Team Canada look to bounce back against Germany. Winner moves on to play Russia.
10:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m - CNBC - Men’s Hockey - After a tough loss to Alexander Ovechkin and Russia on Sunday, Jaromir Jagr and the Czech Republic take on Latvia in elimination round Hockey. Winner takes on Finland in the quarterfinals.
