The Role of Image in Women’s MMA
↵Every time there is a reasonably large female MMA fight there is always an underlying portion of the community dialogue focused on if the women are hot enough to pay attention to. Fighters like Erin Toughill, Marloes Coenen and Gina Carano have so much of their image in the MMA community tied up in their looks that sometimes it’s hard to remember just how good they are at their sport. Donna does a great job of talking though the different aspects of both the value of image as well as the fact that it can go too far.
